Sara Bax is a Dutch vocalist and composer whose music is mostly described as cinematic jazz. Through her narrative way of making music, she inspires one to reflect and truly seek connection with oneself, others and the world. Her intimate and natural way of singing makes the listener feel part of the experience.

Sara played at North Sea Jazz as trumpeter with the ArtEZ Big Collective and plays in trio with well-known musicians Jeroen van Vliet (Boy Edgar Prize) on piano and Qusai Naim on cello. Compositions steeped in theatrical depth and lyrics that testify to a whole lot of life experience and wisdom.
